   Syarat-Syarat Keahlian   

(i)Any Malaysian citizen of Telugu Origin who has attained the age of 18 and who subscribes to the objective of the Persatuan shall be eligible for membership, categorized as follows:-

(a) Life membership;

(b) Ordinary Membership;

(c) Associate Membership which may be open to residents in Malaysia other than Malaysia Telugu citizens of at least 18 to 60 years of age and who subscribes to the objectives of the Persatuan.

(d) Honorary Membership which may be conferred by an unanimous vote of the Central Working Committee on person(s) who have rendered distinguished services to the Persatuan.

(e) Any application for membership from applicants aged 60 years and above shall not accepted by the Persatuan. However, the existing members aged 60 years and above shall remain as life members and be entitled to the privileges.

ii) Members shall update the Branch Secretary or the Honorary Secretary of the changes in the residential address (if any). All notices posted or sent to the members' last known registered address shall be deemed to be sufficiently served.

(iii) The Central Working Committee shall cause a register of members with particulars of each member to be maintained by the Honorary General Secretary and the Secretary of each Branch

(iv) Ordinary and Life members shall:-

(a) Have the right to speak, nominate, be nominated and vote at the General Meetin gs of their respective Branches of the Persatuan.

(b) Be a beneficiary of all assets owned by the Persatuan

(c) Have the right to take part in all for the activities organised by the Persatuan for the benefit of the members at large.

(d) Receive a copy of the by-laws of the Persatuan.

(e) Receive a Life Membership Certificate and a Membership Card.

(v) Associate/Honorary Members shall not be eligible to vote or hold office in the Persatuan but may participate in all activities of the Persatuan.

(ii) To promote & safeguard the linguistic, educational, economic, social, cultural, spiritual & religious interests of the members.
